Mike Lindell, the ardent Trump supporter and “My Pillow” CEO, has been embroiled in controversy since joining the former president in claiming the 2020 election was “rigged.”
Claiming that Dominion Voting machines manipulated election results landed Lindell in court — rulings against him have cost him millions.
On Monday, Lindell celebrated a rare legal victory, noting that a judge ruled that Georgia’s voting machines may have compromised the integrity of the election.
Of the ruling, Becker News posted: “Judge denies Georgia voting machine critics are ‘conspiracy theorists.’”
Judge Amy Totenberg’s decision noted there is “sufficient reason to believe that the electronic voting machines used by the State of Georgia have substantial flaws.”
Totenberg added there may be “cybersecurity deficiencies that unconstitutionally burden Plaintiffs’ First and Fourteenth Amendment rights and capacity to case effective votes that are accurately counted.”
Lindell celebrated Totenberg’s 135-page ruling, posting: “Historical ruling by Judge! Anyone questioning elections or election machines is not a conspiracy theorist!”
Siding with Lindell, Judge Totenberg noted: “The court cannot wave a magic wand, in this case, to address the varied challenges to our democracy and election system in recent years, including those presented in this case … reasonable, timely discussion and compromise in this case, coupled with prompt, informed legislative action, might certainly make a difference that benefits the parties and the public.”
Totenberg’s ruling allows the case to move forward in the courts.
Notably, defendants included Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and several members of Georgia’s State Election Board, according to The Post Millennial.
